Warm Winds has been doing its part in helping boost tourism in the state. Of course, the surf shop has been attracting traveling surfers to the Narragansett Town Beach. While the beach itself and its swells are more than enough to attract surfers to Rhode Island, Warm Winds have been holding or helping organize fun events. Surf Fest Newport attracted record crowds while the Billabong East Coast Tour at Warm Winds allowed fans to meet and greet the man himself, Mark “Occy” Occhilupo.
